Big news in the game show world. Jeopardy had its first three way tie last week. That’s a first for the 23 year old game show. Which is probably for the best, because no one should have a three-way before they’re 23 years old. ------------ Anyway. I’m going to name seven game shows. For each one, you need to tell me if it # theoreticallly could end in a three-way tie (because it has three contestants), or it... # could only end in a two-way tie (because it only has two contestants). If it could have a % three-way % press 1. If it could only end in a % two-way % press 2. And to skip % press 4. Each right answers gets you $250. % But answer wrong and you’ll lose 250. % And this is a lightening round, so you only have 30 seconds. % Okay, big money no whammies! I think there's a few reasons it lasted a grand total of six episodes. The thing that bugged me most about the TV show was that the typography wasn't nearly as sharp as it is in the videogames. I suspect that this DisOrDat's going to be the closest we will ever see to a ThreeWay question in a YDKJ game for a while. Unlike most people here, I got 7/7 because I've actually seen each of the shows at least once. Cable TV is a wonderful thing... And I just realized that the Flash version of YDKJ seems to be missing the whole "game show pastiche" flavor.
